Form presents its new project, the Form Photo Award 2024. This annual competition is dedicated to contemporary photography on an open topic with a total prize fund of 4,500 euro

A unique feature of the Form Photo Award 2024 is the winners' and finalists' participation in the prestigious Paris exhibition. This unique opportunity will allow participants to present their creative work in front of a broad audience, including viewers, curators, collectors and other professionals in the field of photography.
The exhibition's grand opening, where the winners will be announced, is scheduled for spring 2024. The three winners will receive an invitation to the exhibition opening in Paris, including tickets and accommodation. The event organisers will fully cover the costs of organising the exhibition.
The jury will vote on April 15, 2024. Candidates will be individually notified of the jury's decision by the end of April, 2024.
Authors must submit high-resolution files of their photos by April 30, 2024, for inclusion in our communication support. Candidates who do not provide the necessary information will not be allowed to participate in the competition.

Dimitri Beck

Dimitri Beck is the director of photography at Polka (magazine+gallery+factory) of which he is one of the founding members alongside the Genestar family since 2008. Previously, he was the editor-in-chief of Webistan, Reza's photo agency, in Paris.

Dimitri began his career as a freelance journalist in 1998 and has often worked in Central Asia and the Caucasus

A journalist, Dimitri regularly speaks at conferences on storytelling through images and gives courses at the journalism department of Sciences Po in Paris and at the Spéos photo school.

Nestan Nijaradze

Nestan Nijaradze is the artistic director and co-founder of the Tbilisi Photo Festival – the first international annual photo festival in Georgia – founded in 2010, and the Tbilisi Photography & Multimedia Museum. Both platforms use the medium of photography as a catalyst for social and cultural change in Georgia and the South Caucasus region.

Nijaradze has curated numerous exhibitions of international photographers in Georgia and abroad, promoting the vibrant emerging regional scene of visual artists as well as rich traditions of Georgian photography

the terms of participation
• Applications are accepted online only.
• Each candidate must provide:
  • A short biography
  • Description of the project.
  • From 1 to 8 photos taken or published in the last 4 years (starting in 2019)
  • Digital images must be provided in JPG format, with a resolution no more than 2000 pixels in length. The image file size should be at most 2 MB.
